Ethylenediamine is the ethyleneamine with the lowest molecular weight. It contains two primary amine groups and appears as a colorless liquid.
Ethylenediamine is a highly reactive and versatile molecule. It is commonly used as an intermediary to produce detergents, paper chemicals, textile auxiliaries, fungicides and polyamides.
